How do I access my email?
Most people access their domain email via an email client (eg: Outlook or Macmail). Alternatively you can access your email via the WebMail portal. You can find the necessary details for setting up your email client or logging into Webmail in your My Services page.
How do I register additional domains?
Simply login to your 6Sense My Services page and use the Check Domain tool. If available it will step you through registering and connecting it to your account.
How do I sign up/create an account?
Simply place an order from the Order Now page and your account will automatically be created for you.
Why is Australian hosting important?
The location of your hosting is important because having your website close to where you customers access it will achieve the fastest website load times. Speedy pages increase your sites viewer satisfaction and can also influence your search engine rankings. 6Sense web servers are located at a secure data centre in Port Melbourne, VIC.
How long until my services are active?

Domains


New Domains: Some will be active immediately (.com or .net etc) however domains ending in .au require a regulatory body to confirm your ABN details before registration can take place (estimated 1-2 business days). Please note: DNS propogation generally takes up to 48 hours.
Transfering Domains: Your domain transfer request order is dispatched immediately however the time it takes to transfer a domain is dependant on when the losing registrar chooses to release it. With no complications it is usally 1 week with an additional 48 hours for DNS propergation.

Hosting Accounts


Hosting accounts are usually ready for you within 1 working day after we receive your order.

VPS Servers

To ensure everything is optimal VPS servers are usually ready for you within 1 - 2 working days after we receive your order.

How do I update my credit card payment details?

How do I change my hosting plan?
Simply login to your 6Sense My Services page, click on your current hosting plan link and choose an alternative plan. Please note: Plan changes only take effect at the start of the next billing period.
Why is my domain renewal date different from its expiry date?
We reregister all domains 30 days before they expire. This ensures they will always be active for you even if reregister delays are experienced.
How do I update my domains DNS settings?
Simply login to your 6Sense My Services page and send us a support request detailing the changes required. Please note: DNS changes generally take up to 48 hours to take effect.
How do I cancel my hosting plan or domain?
Simply login to your 6Sense My Services page, click on the service you want to cancel & choose the cancellation option. Alternatively you can submit a support request to us requesting cancellation. Services that are requested to be cancelled remain active until the end of their current billing cycle. Please note: Domains cannot be cancelled, they simply expire if you turn off auto renew on their next renewel date.
Why can't I just have a domain without a hosting service?
We only allow domains with an attached hosting plan. Domain only services are often targeted by fraudsters for spamming or other nefarious purposes.
